A little excitement here yesterday. Ten blocks away from my brother’s apartment, a plane crashed into a high rise and killed a Yankees pitcher. At the time were looking at European paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We were shocked, but relieved to learn it was not related to terrorism.Here, my brother and sister-in-law try out some Halloween masks. We’ve had lots of good food here! Last night we visited a German restaurant, D’Alsace. We had to wait awhile, but the food was great. Later today I’ll be trekking towards Michigan and Canada. I’ve created a blog so people can comment and see pictures. I’ll be attempting to add to this from my phone! Crossing my fingers for modern technology.
